amBX Revived controls the lights of a Philips amBX kit. It runs on your PC and has no account. It does not send information to the developer or to anyone else.
What the app accesses
| Data | When | How it's used |
|---|---|---|
| Your screen | Screen ambient, and Game Flash with ambient on | Frames are reduced to colors for the lights, then discarded. Nothing is saved. |
| Audio playing on your PC | Music, Game Flash and Test audio | Audio is measured for levels and frequencies, then discarded. Nothing is recorded. |
| Your microphone | Only if you choose a microphone as the audio source | Handled the same way as playback audio. Nothing is recorded. |
| Names of running programs | When you choose a game for game-only audio or a profile, and while a profile is set to start with a game | Used to find the game on your PC. |
What the app stores
The app saves your settings on your PC, including presets, game profiles, lamp calibration and shortcuts. Settings can include audio device IDs and game file names. Settings stay on your PC unless you export a backup, which goes to a file you choose.
What the app shares
The app has no analytics, advertising or crash reporting, and it does not send your data over the internet. Its interface communicates only with the app itself on your PC.
Microsoft handles Store downloads and updates under its own privacy statement.
